Sukkamania

Aina silloin tällöin törmää blogeissa siihen, että jokaisella on kesken "yksi, kaksi, viisi, kahdeksan, viisitoista paria sukkia.." Oon aina naureskellut itekseni, että heh miten voi olla monta paria SUKKIA kesken, nehän on niin nopea tehdä ja joo.

Mulla on kesken nopeasti laskettuna neljä paria. Hups?

Every now and then I come across bloggers who has several pairs of socks as WIP. I have always laughed at them by myself, I mean socks are easy and fast to do!

I have four pairs as WIP. Ups?

Eka pari on Jaywalkerit Regia 4-färdigistä. Aloitin nämä automatkalla Lappiin muutama viikko sitten, mutta jostain syystä väri ei vaan iske muhun, joten ne oli tauolla viime torstain neuletapaamiseen asti. Siellä sain (purettuani kärkikavennukset neljä kertaa ?!) ekan sukan valmiiksi ja toista sukkaa on jo vartta useami sentti tehty.

The first pair is Jaywalker Socks out of Regia 4-färdig. I casted these on on the way to Lapland few weeks ago but I just can't stand the color so they have been hybernating a while. I took them with me to knitting meeting last Thursday and after few knit-and-rip experiences I was able to finish the first sock. The second one has already few inches done from the cuff.

Osallistun ensimmäistä kertaa myös Ravelryssa Sock Knitters Anonymous - ryhmän "Mystery Sock" - KALiin. Kaksi vihjettä takana, molemmista sukista saatu ne valmiiksi. Näyttää kivalta! Lanka on viime vuonna Ystävänpäivävaihdossa saatu Dream in Color Smooshya. Ihanaa lankaa! Tätä haluan lisää.

I also take part for the first time in Ravelrys Sock Knitters Anonymous groups Mystery Sock KAL. I have finished the first two clues on both socks. It looks lovely! The yarn is last years Ravelrys Valentines Day swap yarn that I got, Dream in Color Smooshy. I love this one, need more of this.. :)

Sen lisäksi on kahdet jämälankasukat kesken, Noro-raitatyyliin. Näistä ei kuvia. Olen myös lietsonnut sukkainnostustanu muutamilla uusilla kirjaostoksilla: 2-at-a-time Socks ja Knitting Socks with Handpainted Yarn kirjat saapuivat männä viikolla postilaatikosta. Ziljoona ihanaa ohjetta, mistä saisin aikaa sukkien tekoo?

Beside these, I have two pairs of left over yarn socks on the needles. Don't have pics of these althought. I have also added few new sock pattern books to my library; 2-at-a-time Socks and Knitting socks with handpainted yarn books are just lovely and arrived to my mail box last week. I just need some time to knit socks?
