Passion - Intohimoa?

Viimein siskoni (malli), neule (Passion), kamera (Canon), olosuhteet (valoisa aika) sekä kuvaaja (minä) pääsivät kaikki samaan paikkaan samaan aikaan. Ja onneksi. Sisko ihastui entistä enemmän neuleeseen, tahtoo samanlaisen ruskeana tai tumman vihreänä (mitä värejä Isoveikassa on vielä, olikohan siinä vihreää?). Itse olen erittäin tyytyväinen lopputulokseen myös.

Finally everyone (the model, the project, the camera, the photographer, the sunlight) were in the same place at the same time. Luckily. I have been waiting a long time to blog this :) My sis fell in love with it and wants another in another color (perhaps brown or dark green). I'm really happy with the outcome too.
Nimi neuleelle syntyi, kun kameralla räpsittiin kuvia. Mieleen tuli räpsytiräpsyti-äänestä kaikki eri maiden "Huippumalli haussa" - ohjelmat ja sisko alkoi sitten lopuksi poseeraamaan oikein ison maailman tyyliin (nämä kuvat jäivätkin sitten koneen syövereihin ;D). Malleja pyydetään aina näyttämään jotain tunnetilaa, ja niinpä siskon kanssa päädyttiin INTOHIMOON - Passioniin. ;D Ohje tähän tulee, jos muuton jälkeen löydän muistiinpanoni jostain muuttolaatikosta.

Me and my sister gave the name Passion for this project since the photo shoots reminded us about the "Americas / Britains / Australians Next top model" - photo shoots. Everytime the models are told to impress some emotion, so we kinda did the same thing. The last (and the funniest fun in the pics) was passion. I'll probably will write the pattern for this one, if I can find my notes somewhere after the moving is over. I have over 10 boxes of CRAP ? so hopefully the notes are somewhere ;)

Kuivumassa

Jotain keltaista on kuivumassa kylpyhuoneessa (sen takia kamalia keltaisia kylpyhuonekuvia). Tykkään siitä jo nyt kovasti. Kunhan saan langanpäät pääteltyä sen kuivuttua, ja kuvailtua niin sitten vähän enemmän. Sillä välin jatkan tavaroiden pakkaamista, asunto siirtyy hallintaani 12.11., joten tässä marraskuun aikana hiljenee hetkeksi kun siirtelen tavaroita paikasta A paikkaan B.

Something yellow is drying up in the bathroom (that's why the pictures are so horrible, they are taken in the bathroom..). I love it already. As soon as I weave in the ends and taken pictures of it, I will tell you more about it. While that's all happening, I'm going to pack rest of my stuff and start moving them from place A to place B. The apartment will be mine on the 12th of November. :P

Keltainen

Jotain keltaista ja pehmeää ja lämmintä tulossa. Omalla ohjeella.

Something yellow and soft and warm is coming up. With my own pattern.

PS. Löysin itselleni asunnon. Muutto muutaman viikon päästä. Langoille ostelin jo uusia muovilaatikoita, tässä vasta murto-osa. En tiennyt, että omistan noin paljon lankaa - oikeasti!

PS. I found an apartment for myself. I will be moving in couple of weeks. I bought some boxes for my yarns, here is only few boxes. I really didn't know that I own so "much" yarn - seriously!

Lomailua

Koulussa on "projekti- ja harjoitustyöviikko", joka tarkoittaa, ettei pakollisia tunteja ole. Minäpä lähden koiran kanssa mökille pidennetylle viikonlopulle.

Neuleita neuleita

Junamatkat koulusta kotiin ovat aina oivallista neulonta-aikaa. Tällä hetkellä on puikoilla mm. Novita Luxus Cloudista sormikas/lapaset, Novitan ihqkeltaisesta Isoveljestä Punahilkka, Novita Bambusta Apres Surf Hoodie.. Aika Novita-painoitteista tällä hetkellä :o Enpä tajunnutkaan ennenko tähän listailin näitä.

Travelling with a train to school and back to home is the perfect time to knit. At the moment I have lots of WIPs, for example these mittens out of Novita Luxus Cloud.


Blogikoiran kanssa on ihana metsässä käydä, kun se nauttii selkeästi syksystä. Sen lisäksi metsässä on niin kauniit väritkin tällä hetkellä.

I just love to go on the walks with the blog dog to the nearest forest. All the colors in the forest are just so beautiful!

Hattutehtaalta päivää

Nyt se mopo lähti käsistä? Hattuja tulee niin paljon kun vaan ehtii neulomaan.. Veljille, kavereille, sukulaisille.. Malleina kaikenlaisia, kesken tällä hetkellä aivan uskomattoman mukava malli "Habitat" Brooklyn Tweed Designista.

So now I lost it? There are so many hats finished and so many hats sit in progress. For my friends and family etc. There are also many different patterns that I have been trying out, at the moment the best in is "Habitat" by Brooklyn Tweed Designs.

Harmaata palmikkoa

Väliaikakatsauksena harmaata palmikkoa uusimmasta Sandrasta tulossa. Vielä toinen kappale & kaulus ja hiharesorit. Siitä on tulossa hieno. Oon melkein ihastunut Novitan 7 veikkaan?

Muita käsitöitä

Huuh, aloituskokous on saatu pidettyä insinöörityöstäni. Yllä on alustavasti lähdemateriaalia, johon alkaa kova tutustuminen nyt muutaman viikon ajan. Tavoite on, että työ olisi valmis huhtikuussa, jolloin voisin valmistuakin.

I just had my first meeting in my final thesis project. Above you can find the material I have to go trough in few weeks. I hope to get the final thesis done by April, so I can graduate.


Viimeinen vuosi tosiaan alkoi, ja päätin haluta luokastani jonkinlaisen muiston. Luokan pojat varmasti arvostavat ystäväni-kirjaa. ;) Itsehän olen siis ainoa tyttö, joka koko päiväsesti käy ryhmämme luennoilla. Sitä se raksa-ala teettää.

It's the last year of college and I want to have something to remember of my class mates. I bought this "my friends"-book so that all the boys (since I'm the only girl at my class) can fill it for me.

Rakastan muuten syksyn värejä. Niin kauniit!

FO: Conwy

Knitting on the Road on muuten ihana sukkakirja. Olenko kertonut jo sen? Nancy Bush on myös nero. Conwy on ehdottomasti mun suosikkimallini tästä kirjasta, tässä valmistui koulun alettua jo luennoilla toinen pari Conwyja. Edelliset ovat olleet kovassa käytössä.

I just have to tell you once again that Knitting on the Road is a wonderful book. I also agree with all the others that thinks that Nancy Bush is genius. Conwy is my fav pattern from this book. I just finished a second pair of them. This pair was knitted during autumns lessons at school.


Lankana on Lorna's Shepherd Sock Multi. Kauniin värinen ja ihanan pehmeä. Hieman huolettaa, että kestääköhän se käytössä mun karheita kantapäitä ja päkiöitä. Aikaisemman olen tehnyt yhden sukkaparin tästä langasta, mutta se meni silloin lahjaksi. Ehkä nämä ovat hemmottelusukat sitten.

The yarn is Lorna's Shepherd Sock Multi. I love the color and it's so soft. I'm little bit worried how the yarn can handle my scratchy heels and toes in use. I have used the yarn before, but that pair of socks I gave as a present so I don't know how it makes it in use. Maybe these will be the socks that I use when I want to give my feet something warm and soft.

Revontuli

Ensimmäinen mutta ei viimeinen Revontuleni. Kaunis kuin mikä. Ja se on ISO. Pääsenköhän soputelttaryhmään? Yläreuna on 250 cm.. Ehkä pidänkin tämän itse?

My first but not last Revontuli from Ullaneule. It's so beautiful. And BIG. I might keep this myself?


Puikoilla Novita Floricasta Aquila. Huiveja pukkaa. Niitä on helppo tehdä tunneilla. Muuten kun aika on kovasti kortilla tällä hetkellä asunnonmetsästyksen, insinöörityön, uuden osa-aikatyön, viimeisen kouluvuoden ja koiran takia.

And then I have Aquila from Ulla also on the needles. I like making shawls. They are so easy to do while listening the lessons at school. My time is so tight at the moment while looking for a new apartment and making my final thesis and starting a new part-time job and making through the last year of college and with the blog dog.
